There’s power in numbers, if we can just get on the same page.

Whether it’s for a short-term initiative, or a long-term partnership, working with other organizations increases the possibilities for all of us. Sometimes, we just need a neutral party to help bring people together so we can move our collective impact forward.

Trusted by organizations across the recovery continuum

Convening and facilitating

Even though we may share common visions of the future, it’s unlikely that everyone agrees on how we get there. Every organization is different. We each bring different experiences, resources, skills, challenges—and baggage—to the group.

Our team can help facilitate conversations, outline reasonable goals, and create actionable steps to reach those goals. This doesn’t guarantee that everyone will be on board, but it does guarantee we start making progress towards the overall visions we may share.

Resource Sharing and Optimization

“I didn’t even realize y’all existed” is an expression we’ve all heard from excited people that meet us for the first time. We can build tools, such as websites, and approaches to collect and share resources.

Our Partnership Managers, and our team’s overall focus on partnership, allow us to constantly meet new people that might be a resource to others in our networks. Wherever possible, we promote the efficient sharing of resources and best practices to reduce duplication and waste, and ensure members of the network can access the tools they need to succeed.

Community representation and advocacy

Representing a coalition is not necessarily harder than representing just one agency. Sometimes, it’s easier! As individual organizations, we can’t always get an audience with our desired stakeholders. Even if we can, we might not be taken seriously.

By representing a group of organizations, we can often open up conversations that are not available to just one of us.

Financial intermediary and support projects

Everyone wants to make the most of our resources–including our funding partners. By serving as a network convener, we sometimes have the opportunity to fiscally or operationally administer projects that help meet the needs of the funding partner, and the network.

These are usually projects that would otherwise not happen because the funding partner is not in a position to implement / operate the project, or because the target recipients are too small to receive the funds. By stepping into an intermediary role, we make it possible for an organization to invest in the communities they want to serve—our networks!
